Tried some different things with this one. Still experimenting in photoshop.

EDIT: There have been some comparisons to :iconfoxinshadow:'s style concerning this drawing. As I have said on many occasions I am inspired by his style. This drawing is no exception. I have removed the discussion about this below, since it was backing up the comments with walls of text. :P

There really isn't a background. I'd say it's more of a symbol of all the times we disappoint ourselves, only to arise to progressively more difficult challenges. Glad you like it though ^^

Uhhh your style does kinda look like fox's style. I'm not trying to start another arguement but, atleast have your own ideas for drawings no one has thought of...again, not trying to start another arguement.

I think it's perfectly fine that Vulpes is getting inspiration from other artists, that's how you approve as an artist yourself.
As long as you don't actually STEAL or try to purposefully replicate someone else's artwork.

yes i never said there was anything wrong with getting inspiration from people, (i get inspiration from people all the time) as long as its still their own style. Vulpessentia pretty much copied the style of fox's (even without realizing) especially the eyes its really noticible that its fox's style..

Fox doesn't own the style. Vulpe can use whatever style s/he wants, although if s/he does copy someone else's it doesn't really show off a great impression of his/her skills.

Lol do you even know what a style is? a style is something that comes naturally to an artist. it is their personal style therefore, fox does technically own that style.
